Description

Runestone accumulation has become too slow following recent boss changes, effectively stalling the transcendence upgrade tree for mid-game players.

Specific data points:

  • deusmortis earns ~18 runestones per prestige with both bonuses active
  • At ~5 prestiges per month, reaching 100 runestones takes several months
  • ilenia is at 38 runestones and needs 150 for their next upgrade
  • Boss kills were previously a meaningful runestone source; that income has been reduced by the rebalance

Players who are also stuck on the Shadow Mere CP wall (see related issue) are hit hardest, as they cannot progress their boss kills to earn runestones from that source.

Suggested Direction

  • Review runestone yield per prestige to ensure the transcendence tree is reachable within a reasonable timeframe
  • Consider alternative runestone income sources that don't depend solely on boss progression
