Achievement Categories

Suggestion-Based Achievements

  • First Suggestion - Submit your first suggestion
  • Helpful Suggester - Submit 10/50/100 suggestions
  • Accepted Suggestions - Have 1/5/10/25 suggestions accepted
  • Diverse Suggester - Submit suggestions across all media types (books, manga, shows, games, music, art)

Like-Based Achievements

  • First Fan - Like your first item
  • Enthusiast - Give 25/100/500 likes
  • Complete Fan - Like at least one item in each media type
  • Superfan - Like 100+ items

Comment-Based Achievements

  • First Thoughts - Post your first comment
  • Active Commenter - Post 10/50/100 comments
  • Thoughtful Reviewer - Post comments on 5/10/25 different items

Engagement Achievements

  • Regular Visitor - Visit 7/30/365 days in a row (login streaks)
  • Well-Rounded - Suggest, like, AND comment in the same session
  • Early Adopter - One of the first 10/100 users
  • Loyal User - Account is 1/2/5 years old

Technical Notes

Achievements are separate from badges:

  • Badges: Discord role-based (staff, VIP, member) - displayed based on Discord server presence
  • Achievements: Activity-based (as listed above) - earned through library engagement

Users will be able to view all their earned achievements on their profile, showing off their engagement with the library!
